My chickens are my absolutely most favourite thing...BUT, let's be honest, the chores are a reet pain in't bum! For over a decade I've not had a single lie-in and what I've saved on eggs, I've spent on caffeine. For a full 10 years, I've not been able to fully let my hair down at the Annual Fowl Fanciers Family Fun Day Full Moon Hoe-Down. As I've whirled about on the dance floor, my mind has whirled with images of foxes and stoats attacking my precious girls because I couldn't shut their door. BUT....THANKS TO OMLET my troubles are a thing of the past! I can now snooze my mornings away whilst my girls are up with the lark, I can boogie into the early hours whilst my girls are snuggled up and safe. I'll admit, I was worried the battery may run out while I was on holiday but NO! OMLET thought of that already and have included a handy battery-level indicator! The door is sooooo easy to fit. Just give it to your husband and say "If only i had the skills to put this door on the coop, I'd be in bed for two extra hours every Saturday Morning, looking for things to do." With the door, the smart feeder and the drinker, I can finally have the holiday I've always dreamed of...Margate...here I come!! Honestly? Worth every penny. Well done, OMLET and THANKYOU. X

I recently purchased the auto door. It's easy to install and to set up the control panel. I'm using the timer function, it would be useful to have the ability set the door to open on specific days of the week. Other than that, no issues. The door is great.

I purchased this door in September 2022, and I absolutely love it. I am also very impressed with the quality! We have had to change the batteries only once in that time. We have had two events where something became lodged in the base of the door frame and it wouldn't stay closed, but aside from that this door has been incredibly reliable. We recently purchased another coop, and will be keeping two flocks, and I will be purchasing another door soon. Thank you, Omlet, for a quality, dependable product.

Absolutely love my new chicken door. It is the best investment. Easy to install and set up. Having the app makes it even better. My chickens love it too and only took them a day to work it out.

Really pleased with it we’ve got setup on the light sensor option. Which it great and you can adjust the light levels which it opens and closes at. Very happy Bantams!

I was on the fence because it is an extra investment but it was so worth it! I've had my flock for a month and wasn't getting out early enough for them. Once I installed the automatic door they were getting out into their run an hour or two earlier and it had helped them settle in so much more. I have four hens and they are no longer snippy with each other and are getting along so much better, I definitely think it's because they are getting out that bit earlier! Also at night I don't have to worry about them as much, I know the door has closed and it is safer than the wooden door that was there before. I installed it onto a wooden coop and it was quite easy to do, just took maybe 30 minutes of my time.

I've tried a few different automatic coop doors. Decided to splurge and purchase this after our last one didn't make it through the winter. Time will tell more about durability and long term use. Initial thoughts are that it's well constructed and feel like quality. I was a bit surprised and having to put it together, for example installing the drive gear; curious as to why that is. Installation was easy as they provided multiple different styles of mounting clips depending on your coop. Very much appreciated. I got a device error upon initial setup. However, taking the batteries out and putting them back in fixed that, odd. Simple 3 button input once you figure out the flow. Took me a second to figure out to long press the power button. I did not consult the instructions as I figured it would be intuitive enough. Photo sensor seems pretty precise. We have shade from trees and it's not causing any issues. So for I have no complaints and looking forward if it holds up.

We’ve had an Omlet door for 3 years. The way we set it up allowed the goats to rub up against the wires and severed a few. We tried to reconnect them but to no avail. I couldn’t keep our battery high enough to open and close the door. So we bought the new set up with back up AC power and it’s perfect. I didn’t mention that we live at 8200 feet in Colorado- it has taken 3 years of snow, high wind and mud. Never failed. It’s a beast.

Our door has been such a blessing. We had one hiccup with the power supply. I think it may not have been protected from the weather well enough. We bought a weather proof electrical box to plug it in and voila, perfect.
