Arrived on date due. The chickens seem happy bought due to my ex bat being ill and not agreeing with the vet to put her down hoped it was due to her struggling with her first outdoor cold weather. She is now fine 4 weeks on i'm not returning to that vet either. Improvements I think are needed to the product such as easier access to the side handle and egg port. My children now struggle to look after their hens. but this is the only complaint.

This is an excellent product - well worth the money, has kept my chooks nice and snug throughout the winter.

Don't know what I would have done without this in the recent snow/ice for my girls.......

This weather jacket arrived, at last, just in time for the first snow in Kent, it's easy to fit & keeps my girls cosy.

I thankfully received the extreme weather cover before the very cold snap arrrived and it has been great. I can feel the warmth from inside the cube when I open the door in the morning and the girls just wander out when they are ready. The Zip around the back is handy for access. Great product and well worth the money.

I have been amazed at how much heat pours out of the coop now when I open up for my girls first thing in the morning. This is an easy to use product. I've only had it about a month, so can't answer wear and tear issues, but it looks like it should last well. You can gain access very easily to retrieve eggs. It really has put my mind to rest about keeping girls warm.

I have always covered my cube in winter with a blanket and then a thick plastic cover every winter as it gets very cold that cube and has lots of gaps. I bought the new extreme covers as soon as I saw them. It is easy to fit tho getting to the eggs is a bit of a problem (a zipped hatch would have been much more useful than the zip they have which I never undo). I felt the inside of the cube after a night of freezing temps and it is very warm and cosy to touch. My gals have not stopped laying either so must be warm at night inside. I remove whole cover when cleaning out the cube and its is easy to get on and off. Would recommend.I know my gals are warm and toasty at night now.

The jacket fits round the cube very well and it obviously keeps the cube draught-free and warm. The only drawback which I have come across is that it is a tad awkward getting access to the hatch and the mechanism for opening and closing the cube door. Beyond this I am quite satisfied with the product.

I rang Omlet requesting the ordered item be delivered as soon as it arrived in store as I was worried about my nine chick hens in the very cold weather which had begun. Then having lost one chicken, then the second, I rang Omlet and stated that I would have to try and make a cover as the chicks were cold and I began losing them. Low and behold a few days later, after my desperate call to Omlet, the cover came and it was placed on the Cube and in went the chicks that night. I felt sure the cover would be an asset and in the morning the seven remaining chickens I had put to bed the night before, tumbled out of bed and were more than chirpy, even though it was very windy and very cold, on the verge of icicles, they had kept extremely warm. Egg laying had dwindled due to the cold weather, but I can get four eggs most days and the chickens look forward to their bedtime in the warm!n Roll on Summer!!!
