Have wanted to keep hens since a small child and never thought i would after moving to a city. However, the Eglu Go has fitted perfectly into our medium size garden and the 2 hens seem completely happy and are laying well. Very easy to keep clean, A fantastic way to keep hens with a minimum of fuss.

This is great for my 10 hens. Easy to clean and no worry of the red mite. The only downside for 10 hens there needs to be 2 nesting areas one each side. I often find eggs on the bars as they could not get in the box to lay as it was occupied. Omlette please look at adding this extra nesting box. Otherwise 10 out of 10

I finally decided to buy this product after battling to eradicate red mite from my old chicken house, which was made from wood and full of nooks and crannies. It arrived flat packed and was very easy to assemble thanks to good instructions. It sounds silly but I was concerned that it might look very "plasticky" but I was pleasantly surprised. It's now been up and in use for 4 weeks and overall I am very pleased, the chickens seem happy and are staying much dryer due to the covered run. An improvement that would benefit me, would be a smaller door opening. My chickens keep going into the nesting box to sleep which I think might be because of the draft due to the door opening being quite big. Also I love the size of the door in and out of the run but I do struggle when trying to put the chicks away after they have been roaming the garden. I end up putting 1 away then closing the door whilst I get the next and then it's a bit of a struggle trying to put the other away whilst stopping the one that is away from escaping (my husband finds this hilarious to watch). Maybe the door could be split in two so that it's still easy to let them out but then the bottom half of the door could be closed to assist putting them away? Overall though I'm extremely pleased with this purchase.

I purchased the clear cover for the cube, It's great it keeps the girls dry and lets in lot's of light. Much more suitable than the green cover as it's much stronger material which does not allow the rain to drip through it. Nice one Omlet!

we love the eglu!! so easy to set up, clean & use & the chickens have settled into their new home brilliantly!!! would totally recommend.

We have had our chickens for 6 weeks now and they have become part of the family. Our two chickens started laying after about 2 weeks and we have had 2 eggs a day since. The eglu go is a great piece of kit. It is very easy to keep clean, fox proof and looks good in the garden. We have also purchased the 1m extension for the run as I felt the run it came with was a little too small them and we both work long hours so I can't always let them roam free. I am amazed at how easy it is to keep chickens, apart from making sure they have food and water and clean them out once a week you don't really have to do anything else apart from collect the eggs of course. I normally only have to top up their food bowl every 2 - 3 days as they have enough in there. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this product to people, in fact I already have. I think I may look into getting the bees next!

Great protection from the wind and of course british rain!!

Very easy to take care of in terms of cleaning etc, and the sliding doors / trays / egg doors are also great in daily use. They seem to like it so far (consistently getting 3-4 eggs a day from 4 hens)!! It feels very solidly built, and good value for money considering the number of years use we will get out of it with clean and disease free environment for the hens. My only complaint would be the plastic stairs and the lip where the doors is. One of my hens still can't walk down it properly and tends to just fly down. She stands on the lip and slips sometimes, though the others have mastered it quite well. I think adding some kind of textured surface on there would work well, just something to grip onto a little more. Does what it says on the tin - keeps out the rain. Looks neat, easy to use. Much better than the tatty bit of plastic I was using before. Many thanks

A super design that is easy to clean, either with a cloth & bucket of soapy water or with a power washer. I particularly like the way the different components can be removed to aid cleaning and drying. Being able to access the nesting box from the outside is a bonus and means I can keep peeking to check for eggs. The Cube is easy to push around the garden (so far only on fairly firm ground), which has helped to spread out the chickens' impact on the 'lawn'. The run size allows the 4 birds ample room to feed and scratch around safely if shut in, and they are certainly well protected once they have been shut up for the night.
