I saw a blue and white one in Glasgow Virginia yesterday. I couldn't catch it. I'm sure someone is missing it. I'm going back to look again tomorrow. What temperature can one survive. It's cold 😥

Someone's escaped yellow parakeet has been coming daily, several times a day, to our bird feeder tray on our deck. It seems happy to eat with the flocks of sparrows. It responds to pretty bird & has repeated it to us. It flies off when approached. We live in the 60073 zip code area. If anyone sees this who has lost this little one, let this site know.

My blue prakeet escaped in an instant when I opened the door and my mom was cleaning the cage. Please text me if you know what should I do, I tried everything in this thread is 44F tonight and have walked, played sound inspected the buildings, walked with the jail and still nothing.

My budgie escaped from his cage that was left open in error. Opened the back door and he was gone in an instant. It was only 2 degrees Celsius out there at night and he was gone for 5 days. Put out on social media for people to watch out for him. I thought he was gone for good. THEN got a message that he had been found 12 miles away!! Picked him up from the vets who had taken him in and apart from being hungry he was fine So if your bird absconded don’t give up hope cos you never know. Budgies are tougher than you thonk

Our One Budgie Flew Away as one side of cage remained open by mistake. We ran outside but no sight anywhere. Suddenly miracle happened, I saw him flying around. When would try to near him, he would fly again. After Lot of efforts we put his cage near to place he was sitting, on seeing his cage and sound of fellow budgies he slowly came down on the cage . So Truly Cage View and Sound of other budgies work .
