I have the auto door in my chickens shed within a fenced pen , as foxes are around. It’s been so good to make sure it’s closed and not rely on family to close the door every night. I also adjust the open and closing timing from my phone which is great, based on light and weather. The thing to do is watch the battery life and change regularly. The light is amazing and I’ve watched the chickens head for the door when it turns on, that still amazes me! Couldn’t ever go back to manual opening and closing everyday ! Worth the investment to keep the chickens safe from predators.

A simple little light that makes all the difference. It's a great way of being able to look out of our kitchen window and know that the hens have a guiding light home. It's also nice to be able to count them as they walk in to make sure they're all present and correct!

Finally took the plunge to purchase an automatic door after keeping chickens for over 14 years. I am now kicking myself for not buying one earlier. We went for the internal light option and the hens went to bed no issues. All I can say is- it works, go for it.

really like the door. Very pleased with how well built it all is. Worth the money, you can tell its good quality as soon as you open the box. I love how there are different options to control the door and the emergency fail safe too. We fitted to a wooden playhouse we turned into a coop and it was very simple to fit. We get rescue chickens today, so its really handy we can keep them in for a few days and then let them out when they are ready. Just love it. Daughter wants a rabbit for her birthday, so we are going to save up for the rabbit hutch and run. The products really are very good. We are omlet fans now

Installed this in my coop and it works very well. Made my own wood frame after cutting the proper sized opening. Very happy with how easy the app is to adjust the open / close times. I recommend this product

This review is going to fall short of how amazing Omlet's Autodoor is. This is now the second door we've purchased from Omlet - the first one is still going strong over 5 years after we first purchased it. I don't know what we'd do without it. It works in rain, snow, wind, sunshine, or any combination of weather. I think we've only changed the batteries twice in all that time. It's been amazing! So much so that we are branching from chickens into ducks and need a second door for our duck enclosure. Since our ducklings aren't here yet, we can't say how they use the door, but I do know the chickens love it and use it daily. We love the peace of mind that comes with the security of the Autodoor and it's daily reliability as well. I couldn't envision keeping our birds without an Autodoor - I just wish they made goose sizes too.

The new auto coop door from Omlet has been great so far! It has saved me from running out first thing in the morning to worrying about my chickens not being closed in if I’m not around at night. Very easy to install to our wooden coop!

I have another brand of automatic door for my chicken coop, but it’s hard to install, calibrate, and setup. I wanted to add an automatic door to my chicken run, so my chickens could free range for a few hours everyday. The packaging was above and beyond. The door and frame are one unit, which makes installation SO EASY. Setting it up was so simple I didn’t even need the instructions. Speaking of, the instruction booklet is so thorough and easy to follow. You can tell the Omlet team really had a passion for creating well made products, providing great info, and they have great customer service. I wish I had found their products at the beginning of my chicken journey.
