We've had an autodoor on our coop for several years now and that was certainly an improvement on doing things manually. It was battery operated but as we now how a new arrangement with mains power a bit closer from a new shed I thought it was about time to get a Smart panel. After I had boosted wifi coverage in the house it worked fine and an easy way to change opening and closing times. We have a camera inside the coop (alongside others outside also used for birds and next boxes). This provides a diversion at or mealtimes to see their squabbles at roosting and habbits before laying, or not. Now that therre is a good wifi arrangement you might like to consider marketing a camera system as a plug in? Ours is hard wired cabling but with modern wifi it should not be too difficult to set one up with a secure access for remote viewing. In fact, our son gave us a Christmas present that was a wifi-connected picture frame (Skylight Frame) that would be excellent for family viewing (although I have not tried it for video). I have been keeping chooks for over 12 years.... I wish I had of thought of something like this years ago... but I take it wasn't invented then! I have the auto door. Very easy to install. Very easy to operate.. Stops those late night treks to the hen house, the wet treks to the hen house. I can open the door earlier than what I would have without it. Chooks love it. When they hear it opening they run for the door! I also installed a cheap wifi outdoor camera which is awesome addition. I can make sure they are in for the night before closing. Great invention thankyou!!!

I don't know how it does it but the wifi signal has incredibly long range and it's probably the only wifi product i've ever purchased that setup on the first go straight out of the box.

After a 4 1/2 year trouble free door I started having issues. Contacted omelette and they were more than helpful. Such great service and I couldn’t be more pleased with the product..

We started with the Go Up and graduated to the Cube for our four chickens. Added the automatic door but I never quite mastered setting it correctly and often our chickens were not making it in. A few weeks ago, I thought how nice it would be in Omlet invented a bluetooth enabled door so I checked and there is was! Life changing considering our 8 inches of snow here in Maryland. It works perfectly and was very easy to install.

I bought the first auto control panel w my first coop and first set of chickens. I love being able to use the app on my phone to check up on the status of the door and the light. Then I added a big walk in cage to connect the coop and run to the cage for more room. I then added a smart auto door to allow the chickens to leave the big cage to free range. That is a winner too. Then I ended up w another manufacturers little secondary coop in case of overcrowding etc. I then put it in the big cage and attached a smart auto door to the little coop that I call Churchill Downs. So I have three smart auto doors and control panels. They are impressive. And then I decorated the whole thing for Christmas. It’s been fun. I appreciate Omlet.

A fox chewed the cable which runs from the door to the control panel. It also dragged the panel off the cage and damaged it. Kudos to the lovely omelet staff member who helped telling me how to let the chooks out. They were totally fine thank goodness. Arranged for a new panel and cable. These were delivered by the next day. Thank you.

Fitted automatic door to my existing wood and mesh coop. Installation was straightforward. Chickens were using new door within 3 days Has been a very positive adjustment for me and the chickens: they get longer free range hours and it frees me up as well.

The wind blew away my chicken run and the automatic door controller went with it. The instructions were fairly simple and I was able to get everything running very inexpensively.
