Fitted our new door last weekend to a wooden coop. Took off the original wooden door and because the frame of the electric door was slightly too tall we needed to attach an extra piece of wood to the front of the coop to fix it to. This was easy to do and it now fits perfectly. I’m very pleased with it, just need to see how our new chickens take to it next week.

Really happy with this product. Installed into an existing wooden coop,was quick and easy. My only comment would be, perhaps having 2 door sizes for people with large birds like geese??

This door is so easy to install a child could do it. The timer is easy to set up and the coop light comes on 5 mins before the door shuts Its a little more expensive that some other makes but I needed it to fit a wooden coop and it’s much more solid than other makes I read the reviews before I purchased and now I agree it’s the best automatic door in the market

Automatic Chicken door has been reliable in opening in the morning light and closing to darkness. I installed the door when I assembled my Omlet 2. Assembly instruction were excelIent. followed the directions provided in English and was able to set up the automatic opening and closing of the door. I have the controls outside on the wiring. Survived rain, wind and ice, and continues to work well. I like being able to check on battery life easily. The coop light I purchased 2 months later after installing the Coop door. Directions provided I easily installed the light. Plugging it in to the Automatic coop door was easily done. What a great idea having one control to both the door and light work to together. The light is bright enough to see in the coop and shuts off automatically.

Love the coop light only thing I recommend is to make the cord longer . I exstended mine a extra 20 ft and it works great !

I was sceptical at first to trust my automatic door. I continued my trips each evening to insure door closed. This is a very reliable product. It is easy to install and program. It performs perfectly even in cold weather. The only thing I wish it had is a connection for solar battery charger
