Our initial purchase of the Eglu Go-Up proved too small for our flock. The Cube has a flat roof, which is not as cute. The ladder and door latches are very tight. The coop tray is longer, so it's unwieldy to balance on my knee while I remove the night's poop. The front door on the coop is smaller. I find it necessary to step into the run to remove the feeder and water trough, so a larger person would have difficulty. The chickens have more space.

I absolutely love it and I have wished that I had ordered two! I have only five Bantam silkies in mine and it still looks crowded. I would never put 10 full-size chickens in there. I wish that there was one that was twice as big! It is adorable and easy to clean and everything the advertisements said it was .

The only issue we had was an administrative problem. Payment had been taken and yet product was not despatched until we rang to chase it when we told there was an issue even though transaction had gone through.

We were using one of the more traditional chicken coups prior to purchasing our Omlet coup. The old one was difficult to clean out. It became dirty easily, and muck would stick to the wood. The original coup also in a shady spot in the garden so would attract mould and moss. Also, no separation between the perches and the laying area in the old coup, so chickens would sleep in there and poo in it. The Omlet Eglu Cube MK2 has solved all of these issues. It is well built, and our impressions are that this will last so much longer than a traditional coup. It is easy to clean - can be scrubbed and jet washed. It's now easy to get rid of waste as the tray in the Omlet coup slides out easily. No mould or moss grows as the coup is plastic. Finally, the laying area can be closed off at night, so no poo gets left in the straw, which in turn means the straw doesn't need changing quite so much. We love this new addition to our garden, and they seem to like it too! Thoroughly recommended product.

The Eglu Cube Mk 2 is great the chickens love it also very easy to clean and no sign of red spider mite which we had in the wooden coop very pleased with it so far.

Purchased a 2x4x2 Walk in Run and its brilliant both me and the chicks are loving the extra room, hubs fitted a wooden plinth around the bottom to stop the wood chips coming out and it works great. Installation time was 6 hours between the two of us, so very under estimated and we managed to follow instructions very well. Had a couple of minor issues which omlet sorted new parts for which was delivered next day. Decided to have coop inside and we can access the door closer through the bars as they are a larger size hole on the top section so don't have to enter the run of a night to shut the coop door. Brilliant run, excellent quality, easy to put up just time consuming with all the clips but very well worth it. I'm so pleased for me and my chickens, thank you Omlet. P.s. Don't bother downloading instructions from website as the instruction booklet(s) you get with it are much more detailed, we got a booklet in every box which was handy as I didn't know which box to open to start !

Not that easy to move about.

The run is very strong and is very easy to put up, my wife and myself had it up in about 2hours

So I have had an issue with a very persistent fox over the last 2 years. Wiped most of my flock out a few months ago. Was left with 1 traumatised light Sussex so took the decision to no longer let her free range. She went broody 4 weeks ago today and hatched a lovely lil Columbian blacktail man a week ago. Got some fertile eggs but had some issues. Anyway, this week I have received this cube with run, a connection panel, and a 4m x 3m walk in run. I cannot comment on if my LS likes the cube, she's far to busy in her broody coop trying to keep lil Mr nugget entertained. But it was so easy to assemble, and I just know from how it feels how secure it is. For the 1st night in months i know when I go out in the morning the fox will have been disappointed. I can now start to build a little flock of these loveable creatures. And it felt so awesome burning the mite infested coop and run. Definitely need a basic understanding of how things go together or this could be tricky.

Good product, however I am.a little confused as to how such a simple looking product appeared so complicated to make and assemble, I was expecting an item that had no internal crevices for mites to harbour in during the day but this has lots of gaps between the inner and outer casings. With a little thought and redesign this could be made so much simpler and cheaper than it has been.(think little tykes playhouses) However it is well made and seems that it will do what it says on the box and last for many years to come, chickens like to roost at night so the lack of perches inside seems a little strange for such a well reviewed product?
