This well built door is so study and well designed. I had absolutely no training required for my chickens to use it perfectly immediately. The dogs and I can now get up a little later. I still check each night to make sure they are in but it so reassuring each time I do. I should have brought it with the coop. It’s costly but the freedom more than makes up for it.

I purchased two door kits and tunnels with connectors plus one angled connector. After trying a DIY version with drainage pipes I invested in the purpose-made kit by Omlet. Initially I thought the price was expensive however for the ease of use (closing the doors at night); cleaning and free to roam benefits from hutch to outdoor run it gives my guinea pigs, I cannot put a price on. Delivery and communications with Omlet were excellent. Not everyone can afford but if you can do so as animals confined to little hutches sold by pet shops is a depressing thought.

I absolutely love my coop on my sloped and rocky back yard in the city. My chickens love it too! I’m a city girl and its my first time caring for chickens and its been the most rewarding experience for my family during the Covid 19 lockdowns. We have new babies to care for, friends to play with and my two small dogs and my four chicken bonded while watching Netflix as the chicks were babies. They are their ever present watchdogs shooing away deer, birds and any harm from our hens who free range and inspect absolutely everything. Its such a joy to watch. And soon - eggs!

Excellent in use - very practical

Very happy with the Omlet coop door (with light). Initially i thought the battery (4xAA) was a weak point and i bought (but didnt fit) the mains power supply, but i can see the benefit following a recent power cut! Perhaps the team could consider mains power but with a rechargeable standby battery?

Ordered my Omlet back in June and finally received it on July 24th. Definitely a long wait understandably with the Pandemic going on. Delays are going to happen. Coop is amazing gives the girls some space to run and a secure place to sleep. Plan accordingly if you plan to order luckily we had a wooden coop for the chicks to move in to until the Omlet arrived. Worth the wait!

It's great to be able to attach our Eglu Go Up run to our new 2x2x2 walk-in run. I've dropped one star as the gap between the new and the old runs is fine for chickens but very small for a human to crawl through (to get in to the Go Up run for cleaning etc.).
