Fitted our new door last weekend to a wooden coop. Took off the original wooden door and because the frame of the electric door was slightly too tall we needed to attach an extra piece of wood to the front of the coop to fix it to. This was easy to do and it now fits perfectly. I’m very pleased with it, just need to see how our new chickens take to it next week.

I originally wanted this coop but thought it too big for my garden. I ended up later buying the Mk2 as I needed an automatic door so my daughter wouldn’t have to come in the dark and one does not fit the smaller coop. I think to might have been able to make a frame but no time. The Mk 2 is far superior and really takes up no significant extra space. The hens use the nesting area which they didn’t in the smaller one. It’s easier to clean and altogether a better purchase. Just sorry I wasted money but learned to follow my instinct maybe now!

Our gerbil Nugget is having so much fun with a bin of deep shavings and hay to tunnel in, and a tower to climb up for food and her wheel. We can see her so much better now and this cage looks like a piece of furniture. And it is SO easy to clean. The only complaint I have is that the water bottle leaks a LOT. It actually empties out. We put a small dish under it so it wouldn't leak down into the shavings area, which you definitely don't want to get wet. Finally we had to get a different water bottle. Omlet's next task should be to make a leakproof water bottle. We aren't disappointed and felt that while expensive, this was overall well worth the cost.

The cube is probably too big for my 2 bantam hens but chicken maths will kick in and it'll be great to add to the flock. Keeps them nice and warm (tested with a digital thermometer, stayed above zero when it was minus 1/2/3 outside. Easy to clean, open and collect eggs. Its feels safe for them. Only slight issue is rain dripping down through the door turner, but its only at the very front and is because I have a waterproof leading down to that area, Im sure it wouldn't be as bad if the coop was stand alone. I found it was easy to put together by myself, took a while with the stand but feels nice and sturdy. Love that I can add an auto door at a later date.

A lovely cage for my two rescue budgies. In fact, they feel so at home in it they rarely come out and just sit looking through the open door! There is easily enough space for them both and the cage is even wide enough for them to fly from perch to perch and extend their wings fully and flap them. They adjusted quickly to the central feeder which certainly cuts down on messy seed husks. Everyone who has seen the cage comments on its lovely design and it looks really good in my living room. I bought the high stand so that the birds can easily see out the windows. Overall, I am extremely pleased with my purchase and with Omlet. The order came within a couple days and I was kept well-informed of delivery. Just two little observations: 1. I love the lining sheets but find using sand on them very messy. Would it be possible to develop a sanded version? (Failing that, could you colour them a mottled grey and white to, er, disguise the droppings?!) 2. My budgies like perching on the open door but can't balance for long. Could you develop a little perch to fit across door jamb?

Oh how I love this coop! I upgraded from the Eglu to give my ladies more space (and perhaps sneak in a couple more) and I’m so impressed with it. It’s really big and incredibly sturdy. We set it up with the automatic door and the coop light and it’s so funny to watch them plodding towards the light at bedtime! There’s a lovely big laying area so they aren’t squabbling over it, and they seem to be warm and toasty at night. It’s so much more straightforward to clean out without having to stoop down. We have ours attached to the walk in run and it’s making chicken keeping an absolute pleasure.

A couple of weeks ago I built our walk in run and so far it’s been fantastic. I decided to buy extension kits so we have ended up with a 2x5 which is a fabulous size. Granted that it’s not the easiest thing to build, especially not in thick mud in the middle of January, but if I can do it singe handedly - anyone can. I definitely recommend watching the video instruction too, I found that made things a lot more straightforward when used alongside the paper ones. The gate works really well, although I’d personally prefer it to be a whole gate, I can see the benefit of having it a barn style. Very happy with my purchase and I’m enjoying furnishing the run for my girls!

My girls have had this toy for about a month and they love it! They have to be kept in their run currently due to avian flu restrictions so I was looking for something new to occupy them. I have bought both types of toy and they fit the bill perfectly. They were bemused by them initially but very quickly learnt how to get the treats out; they get very excited when I refill them! It is so simple and easy to fill, but robust enough to be constantly tapped at by treat-seeking chickens. I was so pleased with the first one that I bought another to stop the squabbling! Would thoroughly recommend these toys, a good price and entertaining for them, and us too, watching them!
