My budgie has a stiff feather right above his eye that wont seem to "back in place: so its sticking out over his eye. He is happy eating, drinking etc, but just noticed it this afternoon. Has anyone seen this? Will it sort itself out?

Your budgie will sit on your finger. Try a gentle push on his belly and he will step up. I noticed it does take a few weeks for these birds to become comfortable with you. I liked this, it made me realize they were actually smart creatures.

Hi I have a question So I have 4 budgies in my cage 3 of them I know the sex of but 1 of them I’m still not too sure, now my female and male are paired up but the other bird which I’m unsure of the sex is trying to get to the female but the male who is bonded with her keeps protecting her does that mean it’s a boy and he’s trying to get her attention or could it possibly be a girl trying to get he’s attention

I absolutely adore and love my parakeet. I have never been able to tame him. He does not respond to me trying to get him to sit on my finger. I can hold food and feed him. He doesn't mind when I change his food or water. He is so wonderful. I will would sit on my finger and be more responsive to me.

Thanks for the info. I have 2 male budgies. Chatter all the time! I also have 2 peach faced Lovebirds, a Pineapple Conure and a Cockatiel. They are my babies, very healthy and spoiled.
