I have a white female and a yellow male and so far she has has 7 yellow baby’s is yellow all she is gonna have And I read they only mate with 1 partner so changing him out is not recommended

Hey I was just wondering if you could tell me why my budgies cheek colours are changing? When I got my green/yellow budgie (Mr. Pickles) he had blue cheeks but over time they have changed to white? Any explanation?
