Verified Reviews for Eglu Cube^® - Large Chicken Coops and Runs

I recently added the Omlet Easy Access Run Door to my Eglu Cube run, and I honestly wonder how I managed without it. This product is a testament to great design; it truly looks like it's always been an integral part of the run's original design. The aesthetic is perfectly matched, and it blends in so seamlessly that visitors often assume it came with the Cube. Beyond its impressive appearance, the functionality of this door has been a game-changer. It has made cleaning the run so much easier. Previously, reaching the far end of the run, especially under the coop, involved a significant amount of contortion and stretching. Now, with the easy access door, I can simply open it and comfortably reach every corner, making the weekly clean-out a breeze. This not only saves me time and effort but also ensures a more thorough cleaning for my chickens. Furthermore, accessing their food and water containers has become significantly simpler. No more awkward lean-ins or trying to maneuver bowls through the mesh. The wider opening provided by the door allows for effortless placement and retrieval of feeders and drinkers, which is a small but incredibly convenient detail that enhances the overall chicken-keeping experience. In summary, if you own an Eglu Cube and are looking to improve your run access and cleaning routine, the Omlet Easy Access Run Door is an absolute must-have. Its brilliant design, seamless integration, and practical benefits make it a five-star upgrade.

We absolutely love our Eglu Cube. It’s a lovely coop, so much easier than our old wooden coop. I hope to eventually get the larger Pro model. Thank you

Great design and easy to attach.

it can be operated with one hand which is great because the end door is a bit of a fiddle. you don’t have to stoop through the door, it’s good it opens from the roof so you don’t have to be on your hands and knees

It's great for new birds to get them into the coop, placing the feeder and drinker underneath it means its easier to fill them up

It’s amazing, I have always hated getting into the chicken coop on my hands and knees. I think it’s the best thing you have created in a long time.

Our birds love it! As does our sweet old bulldog. Assembly was quick and easy. I highly recommend the top tarp for the run. I was going to save a few bucks and just use a normal tarp. I am glad I didn’t. This thing is way thicker than a normal tarp and doesn’t flap in the wind like a cheaper thinner tarp would. We live in south Texas and the coop and run stay relatively cool. Every one seems cozy with their arrangement.

Love this product, love how easy it is to move around. The auto door is amazing. Would recommend this product and company.

Built my village (4 cubes and 1 pro) in time for the cyclone rain to hit. All my crue are up off the ground and dry. Such a nice improvement! All of a sudden instead of running around in the rain catching chickens I can sit inside and watch them safe in they’re cabins warm and dry :)

Our 4 girls simply love their Eglu. The 3m run and cover is great for bad weather, and we've even added a 3m camping shade as well, for some extra coverage on hot days (which are definitely common in Qld, Australia). The addition of the Auto Door after a few months is very handy, but we still go out to check the girls every once in a while. Huntsman spiders love the coop too and every morning when we clean and check the poop tray, the girls are right in there with us for a tasty snack. So much easier to clean than our old wooden coop. Definitely glad we purchased.
