Absolutely excellent in every way. I would never have a wooden hen house again. My 3 hens were at home from day one and started laying immediately. They free range the veg garden in the day and as soon as dusk falls they make their way to the Cube, climb the ladder and go to bed. I just shut the door until the morning. Amazingly easy to clean , beautifully engineered features for ease and hygiene. I was initially concerned as to how it would look in our veg garden which adjoins our 15th century home but it adds a certain quirkiness which is very pleasing. 5 chickens have just moved in and settling into there new home. They learnt to go to bed at night from day 1 just have a bit of difficulty negotiating the steps when getting up in the mornings. The gap between the house and the stairs is a bit to large for them at present and there's not much for them to grip with their feet so they often just tumble out.

Easy to set up. Very easy to clean. Chickens are very happy so we are happy!

Very easy, intended to help our daughter learn to be responsible for living animals - so far so good.

I have three hens and they seem to like it however it is quite cramped for 7+ and when its sunny the guard doesnt really shield away the sun but overall good. A flaw is that the hens havent mastered the steps. Overall a brill product! x

The only down side as far we are concerned is that it is impossible to fit an electric door opener to the cube. Other than that we are very pleased with it and hopefully it's construction should help keep the red mite away ! Thanks Andrew

Four hours of wrestling with heavy bits and fiddly bits and it all went together. Other ingredients necessary include a little swearing and plenty of brute force and ignorance in places. There are some bits of rubber seal left over that aren't mentioned in the instructions though. Once together the Cube looks pretty good. I didn't get my chooks till a couple of weeks later so it got the chance to be rain and wind tested and has so far withstood some horrific downpours. With the chooks now in I can appreciate its easy enough to clean out being at waist height. I've had to shield one part of the run with tarp due to the awful weather we've been having so the birds have a little shelter. When it comes to moving it to another patch of ground I can see I'll struggle (looks to be at least a two person job). Overall I'm happy with it so far. *update* Our first ever egg has been laid today!!

I am new to chicken keeping this year and started out with a wooden hen house and run with three hens but now I have extended my flock to six hens so I decided to purchase a green Cube which is absolutely brilliant! It arrived flat packed and was very easy to assemble. I purchased two extensions to the run so there is plently of space for my chooks to run around. The cube is easy to clean and move about but two people are needed to move it and some handles at the rear would be useful. I have purchased a large clear tarpaulin which stretches right across the run and down the sides so they should keep nice and dry and snug throughout the winter. My chooks are very happy in their new home and very safe from Mr Fox! Katy

The cube makes chicken keeping easy for all. My 9 year old son and I were able to build it in 1 hr 40 mins, which was very impressive. It is very easy to clean out, a 10 minute job. Best of all it is easy to move around the garden so the lawn is not being destroyed.
