I bought this as we have 4 of our own chickens and with them laying 4 eggs a day everyday we were struggling to remember which eggs were the oldest when we came to use them. It works brilliantly as the oldest egg is always at the bottom so you no longer have to second guess. I would of however been better with the small to medium egg one as even though our eggs a quite large they tend not to roll to well to the bottom but to be honest that's no real problem. We're getting some more hens and I won't hesitate in getting another one of these helter skelter's. Gret buy.

At last I can stop writing dates on the many eggs I collect from our hens. With the Egg Skelter they are all kept in date order which is good, and it looks great too, which is even better.

Its great, it does what it said. Wife is pleased with it, if she's happy then I am happy.

This is the perfect solution to ensuring you use eggs in the order they are laid. No more swapping between boxes just add to the top and remove from the bottom, what could be easier.

I love this. It looks good and keeps my eggs in order so I know which is freshest. I do have to occasionally move the eggs into the right position depending on their size but it is no hassle

Thought this little gadget would solve the situation of eating eggs in the right order and it does just that and looks rather good too. My only very slight negative comment is that it is a bit bigger than I expected and therefore takes up more room on the kitchen surface. I was also surprised how difficult it is to move the eggs down the egg skelter! I am forever expecting them to smash, but it hasn't happened yet! Would I recommend it to a friend? Yes I would! I like to wash my eggs in the egg wash (see in chicken keeping) and they allow the eggs to dry easily.
